timestamped and everything you faggots

me on the left is a picture of me 15 years ago when i ate a standard canadian diet, i ate whatever my mom cooked for me which often inclulded pork and red meat. now remember, theres nothing in ayurveda that says that red meat wont give you muscle, the reason not to eat it is because it fucks with your mind it fucks with your psychological state. the picture on the right is taken today (note the timestamp). i havent eaten red meat in 15 years, and been lacto-vegetarian for 10 years (milk and veggies, no meat) my diet is mostly milk grains and fruits. i cant say i havent had ANY red meat or meat in the 15 years between the picture on the left and the picture on the right. there were definetly times when i was eating out or a family member made a certain meal for me, but practically speaking this is what is certainly possible with a lacto-vegetarian diet, although like i said before its mostly milk, grains, and fruits. now post your body you fucking meat tranny.

I found some strange speakers at goodwill today. No markings on the outside or anything. Probably homemade boxes. The "crossover" is just a capacitor. They were only $7 so I thought I'd give them a shot. Surprisingly, they sound really good. They have that vintage new england sound, like older KLHs and Advents. I looked up the model number of the speakers and they're Oxfords from 1969. I don't have any other information, but it seems that these speakers were used more in guitar amps than in stereo speakers.

Okay Musican friend here. Finally got around to poking around at my amp/speaker situation.

I own a Behringer Ultrabass BX3000t and a 4x10 BB410 1200W speaker Cabinet.

Knowns:
>Amp powers on fine.
>Amp receives signal from bass
>amp outputs signal on it's line out/effects outputs
>no loose wires/connections on speaker cabinet
>no noticeable loose connections on amp speaker output

theories:
Some asshole at an open mic the amp was "living" at used an instrument cable instead of a speaker cable and has fried either amp or speaker due to the thinness of the cable.

As preparation for reverse engineering of the AR18, lets break down what goes on during an AR15 cycle of operations.

>1. When the trigger is pulled, the firing pin is impacted against the bullet primer, and the cartridge gunpowder is ignited. Within the first few inches of bullet travel, the entirety of the gunpowder is burned, and peak chamber/barrel pressure is achieved.

>2. As the barrel travels down the barrel, increasing volume causes pressure to drop.
>3. When the bullet passes the gas port, gas flows into the gas tube under gas flow choking conditions (gas port size). The bullet continues to travel down the bore, and chamber/barrel pressure continues to drop.

>4. Pressure at the expansion chamber in the BCG pushes the bolt forward (counteracting some of the rearward chamber pressure) and the carrier backward. As the carrier retracts, the cam path causes the bolt to rotate out of locking position. Friction of the bolt lugs against the locking surfaces may be relevant.

>5. The bullet leaves the barrel and pressure drops rapidly.
>6. The carrier moves back, the bolt is unlocked, the cartridge is extracted and ejected.

All this occurs along with the influence of mass and springs, and not necessarily strictly in all that order. Load data for .223 cartridges is available.

 No.252

modeling the gas flow has been difficult, mostly because i dont know what assumptions are reasonable to make given the high pressure / high temperature nature of interior ballistics
i had come up with a number of dynamic and fluid flow equations and after reading the US Army Materiel Command's "Gun Series Automatic Weapons" and they were pretty much right on the money
i've found the powder characteristics for WC844 in Army documentation so i can give estimations for orifice flow (through a gas port) and the pressure curve (as the bullet goes down the barrel)

 No.214[Reply]

Just wanted to post some preliminary progress regarding my AR18 build
i dont have any access to any examples of these because i live in a commie faggot state, but i've started to at least make progress on constructing an upper receiver flat.

im doing this with some knowledge ive deduced and some simplifications as such:
- an AR18 tubular receiver has internal dimensions of 1.25" x 1.25"
- an unbent flat will be approximately 5 inches across
- relative proportions from pictures will be close enough for function

using that i performed progressive rudimentary visual perspective correction for image 1 using GIMP and gridlines to get image 2. i then imported it into autocad and corrected for any rotation. i then visually mapped out the outline to get a general proportions. with this done i scaled the drawing to my 'known' dimension of 5 inches and examined the other dimensions. I then went through them and rounded up or down to units that are convenient to imperial system, and radiused select corners

This would be an iterative process of refining the flat given i dont even have access to an actual rifle. the only dimensions i can think of that will require being really close would be overall length and width. Width i know isn't going to be accurate, given that when bending sheet metal flat dimensions like that wont directly translate to the finished dimensions, but it think its a good starting point. length would be easy enough to change.

Thoughts?

 No.225

getting some inconsistencies regarding looking at the flats. my reference flat is slightly different than everything else ive seen

 No.226

30 dollars to get it 3d printed
overall dimension not actually that big
a tad over 7 inches long, less than an inch and half wide
might by one of those nodak spud receivers soon and print out a trunnion and receiver to check dimensions

 No.238

developing some tolerances right now for parts.
need to buy the lower receiver to get a better idea of the upper receiver dimensions

 No.239

not to get ahead of myself, but im thinking the way the trunnion is set up can be simplified. having it set up to take your standard AR15 barrel would be a plus, except theres not enough room for the index. would have to redesign how the handguards go on to. probly make them split on the other plane for simplicity sake

Anyone ever consider autism as a hobby?

I mean being autistic takes a lot of time and effort, and most people don't really understand why you do it. Most friends, family, and women think you are crazy for having it, much like many hobbies.

Program Success and Standards

A succesful program is measured primarily on one basis: progression.

If a trainee is not making progress, in some form, than the program is a failure.

Because progress is the basis of a sucessful program, there has to be a method of measuring progress.

For strength training this is usually measured as an increase in a certain repition maximum (1RM, 5RM etc)
