In many ways the F-16 is a shittier jet (for this current war) because it's designed for quick take-off bombing runs before having to return to base rather than for air support, which is what Ukraine needs. The slower speed will make it a sitting duck for targeting-assisted SAMs, the same reason the Houthis are able to blow up F-16s with MANPADs over in Yemen, which doesn't bode well facing a country who specializes in anti-air technology.
tl;dr- Piloting it will be "close enough" to pick up in like 2 weeks + 3-6 months of training but once the S-300s/S-400s get dialed in they'll be sitting ducks for anything other than "bomb location and GTFO."
