guy liked the rules. he liked the game, and liked playing inside of those rules. he amassed a sizable fortune playing the game. it was only after being scheisted for years without any recourse, by a bunch of flagrant rule-breakers, that he was forced to become unreasonable. if you listen to his whole thang, its p clear he never wanted to have to do any of that stuff. he just felt he had no choice left and wanted to die anyways.
