It was well known among the Physics majors that because of the specific electives you were allowed to take you had to take the DEIshit as prerequisites in order to get into your core electives that weren't DEIshit and you could only take half of your elective coursework as figure drawing shit before having to do shit like cultural anthropology or gender studies.
Then again that school had a focus on degree-railroading people from bachelors into masters, which is why general physics got split up into three courses (electromagnetism and waves separately where most schools combine them into one class).
