Lik in Windows it's usually just a matter of updating some driver or at worst using a restore point, while in Linux I end up having to reinstall the whole OS at times. But to be fair the Linux PC in question is a 20 year old Mac Mini that I use as a media box so mite be more of a hardware thing.

If I do make the switch I'll prolly just get some basic distro for web browsing and keep Windows around just for gaymen. i think linux on the desktop first became competent with kde 5 when they made the ui usable and not fugly, still lots of shenanigans i have to put up with and i still have a windows pc just so i can play group fort 2 and btfo third worlders but i'm happy i switched.
